Xulos is an emblematic seafood restaurant in Peñiscola town. When redesigning their logo they wanted both «mediterranean look» and elegance. The fish scales in the letter O was a nod on the interiors of the new restaurant walls and allowed the design to convey an idea of freshness and distinction, while reminding a shoal.
The menu dishes were totally photographed and then placed on top of beaches backgrounds, with shells and sea stars around. The cover was made by a local artisan from olive tree wood and have the logo hand-carved.
Different layouts and creative approaches were produced for their social networks. In the one below a close up of the food is portrait in a hanging frame with headlines such as: «Exquisite technique, delicious execution» or «Harmonious combination of colors and textures» as if it were an art critique highlight.
